Kardamena Kos are there phones?

Im going this saturday and need to know if there are any payphones around to call back home again?? Thanks

  1. Everywhere in Greece there are payphones, but they are used with a card (not credit card or coins, just a phonecard that you buy in kiosques).  


  2. Yes, you will not have a problem finding one to use.  Go first to  a periptero and ask for a "telekarta".  It will cost  you 4 euros.  You insert the card into the phone, and then you can make a call.  

  3. of course there are some..if not payphones then buy a greek-telecard for the public cardphones..they re not that expensive ;-) have a good time in kardamena

  4. I went there 8 years ago and there were plenty of payphones around the street.  Be careful of scooters while you are crossing the roads to get to one, everyone has scooters over there.
