Kareem is a trainer to Bynum/Gasol, is there anyone better to teach a young C/PFs?

I would say Russell could had been but Russell is too old and cant get on the floor with them. Kareem is very impressed with Bynum and he would know talent from all his years and love for the game...Kareem played for so long and seen so many other great Cs I think he will devolpe Bynum into the best C of this era. I hopew Bynum brings back the skyhook. Its a missing key that no one uses today. I seen gasol make sore shots which looks like he is trying to devolpe the sky hook. The young LA talent have the best possible teachers today. Phil, Magic who is still with LA, Kareem, West is still involved somehow, Shaw, and then they have Kobe and Fisher to learn from on the floor. LAL 2009

I agree with you. Los Angeles Lakers for the 2009 NBA Championship!! I can see Bynum doing that sky-hook in the near future.

There is no better teacher for young bigs than Kareem, but here are a few guys that have helped mentor young guys and much improvement has been made:

Patrick Ewing(Yao Ming)

Moses Malone(Samuel Dalembert)

Some other PF/C legends I can imagine have a wealth of knowledge, that must be spread include: Bill Walton, Hakeem, Kevin McHale, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the Mailman with a similar job as Kareem in the near future.

Wilt won't be a good trainer.He is too arrogant and impatient.The reason he calmed down and played as a team was because of Alex Hannum.

Kareem yea. or Hakeem the Dream if Kareem wasn't available. Hakeem is younger that Kareem so he may be able to do more things on the court with Bynum. you think Kareem really tryna bang the kid around in practice? lol. he's just training him giving tips n stuff. not playin him 1 on 1.
