The youngster scored 5 goals and had 3 assists in 33 games. However, an ugly injury
destroyed everything for the tricky winger.
Sidelined from March to December 2011, the winger relapsed in training. However, the Frenchman was never going to give up and made a great return to the first-team at the start of 2012.
In five games, the youngster has provided three appearances which means that Montpellier will certainly have an extra playmaker when it comes to the final few games of the campaign.
While talking to the media, the youngster said that he was impressed with the depth in the squad before revealing that his impatience was the reason behind the delay in his return.
“When I returned to competition, I was not sure what to do with the ball. We must learn to feel, to have full control.”

“It’s getting better and better. I need a goal to accelerate my progress. I am not far from 100%,” revealed the youngster.
With Montpellier launching a Mano-a-Mano with league leaders Paris Saint-Germain, Karim Aït-Fana’s return to form would be a major boost for coach Rene Girard.
