Karim Benzema excited about Real Madrid’s second leg against Olympique Lyonnaise – La Liga News
Real Madrid are set to face Ligue 1 outfit Olympique Lyonnaise in the second leg of their Group D fixture in the Champions League. The match will take place on Wednesday, November 02, 2011
According to reports Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema is eagerly looking forward to feature in the match.
Benzema is keen to feature in the match against his former club. Reports suggest that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Karim-Benzema-c20350 is very excited at the prospect of returning to Stade Gerland in order to play Olypique Lyonnaise, with whom he started his career.
Lyon is also the place where the French International was born, a fact that adds up to the importance of the match for the player.
Real Madrid have made an excellent start to the season, both domestically and on European front. They are currently the league leaders in the Spanish Primera, ahead of current Spanish Champions, Barcelona. Jose Mourinho’s men have made an impressive impact
in the Champions League as well.
Benzema has performed remarkably in the season so far. He was one of the scorers in Madrid’s clash against Lyon in the Bernabeu.
