http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Karim-Benzema-c20350 insists that France are not afraid of England
France international and Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema has gone on to reveal that him, along with his international team mates are not afraid of their Euro 2012 group.
The French side are set to be paired up with England in their group stage for the tournament. The two sides are the favourites to go through from their group, but despite that fact, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 still feel like they can go on and beat the English in both their
group matches.
Benzema, who along with the rest of the French team is looking to progress to the next round, strongly believes that England don’t need to be feared and that they are a team that can be easily beaten, should you get your tactics right.
At the same time, with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wayne-Rooney-c36736 seemingly being a massive doubt for the tournament, it is a wonder as to how far the three lions will get in the tournament.
The striker received a red card in a qualifying game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Capello believes there might not
be any use for the striker on the team.
Benzema has admitted that the strikers absence is going to be a massive blow for England and that the team’s chances of progress will be greatly dampened, should Rooney miss out on the tournament.
Benzema, when talking about France and their chances of progressing from the group stage is quoted to have said:
“We believe we will qualify"
"It’s tough to start against England, but we don’t fear them.
"It’s a disappointment Rooney is suspended – the fans would have enjoyed the duel.”
France have a massive point to prove, following their rather poor run in at the World Cup in 2010. England also had a massively disappointing outing last time around and as a result, both the teams will be looking to go prove their worth this time around.
