The Frenchman’s involvement in a prank call has been denied by Real Madrid, as he reportedly insulted Atletico Madrid and said he would prefer PSG over them.
El Exorcista have been known for surprising football personalities in the past including former Atletico striker Sergio Aguero and former Spain coach Luis Aragones.
The presenter acted as being the president of Atletico Madrid, Enrique Cerezo, and asked Benzema that they were lining him up as their top transfer target in the summers as they fear the departure of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Radamel-Falcao-c30276.
Benzema replied by saying that it was a joke before adding that he will not speak about that on the phone. Benzema also stated that the presenter will have to talk to my manager directly.
Benzema inquired about it being a joke initially. The presenter went one step further by stating that Atletico will offer you a very lucrative deal and warned him that he would not be scoring in this weekend’s highly anticipated derby between Madrid and
Atletico.
The Frenchman got frustrated and was believed to have responded in an insulting manner and his aggressive comments directed some disrespect towards Los Rojiblancos, who are currently 8 points ahead of local rivals Real Madrid.
"Do you really think I am going to move from Real Madrid, the biggest club in the world, to a sh*t team who nobody knows ...?”
The Real striker added that Atletico's advantage over Madrid in La Liga was down to chance and asked who would be their coach next season. The caller replied by saying http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-c11058 Simeone, but Benzema at once replied that he preferred Jose Mourinho over anyone
else in the world.
Benzema further caused speculation by stating the name of oil-rich PSG and indicated that he would rather move to the French side.

"I am closer to PSG than to Atleti," the supposed striker then revealed.

Real Madrid have strongly defied the quotes attributed to the Frenchman and have claimed the call was to someone else and had nothing to do with their star striker.
"The statements attributed to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Karim-Benzema-c20350 are false," a club official said.
The issue has caused some unrest in the capital as it has added fuel to the fire, as the Madrid derby looms large at the weekend.
