The French ace completed his third season at the Santiago Bernabeu with La Liga honours to boast off and revealed his ambition of staying with Los Blancos for the entirety of his career.

Reflecting on his exploits for the season, Benzema stated that he is happy to return the faith shown in him by the board and the fans.
He added that he wants to improve on his performances and went on to state that he plans to stay at the Bernabeu for the rest of his life. Continuing on the subject, Benzema explained that he looks up to former Real Madrid captain, Raul Gonzalez, as a role

Benzema failed to adapt to life in Madrid and Spanish football in his debut season, something he attributed to his separation from his family. However, he reasoned that he is calm now and is excited whenever he is sent on the pitch.
"It is true that at first it was a bit tricky for me because it was the first time that I had been separated from my family.”
"But with patience and hard work everything got better. I had always intended to play for this team and today I am very happy."
The French ace will travel with Les Blues to Euro 2012 that kicks off on June 8 and will conclude on July 1st.
