Karl-Heinz Rummenigge hails Manuel Neuer’s impact at Bayern Munich- Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has hailed Manuel Neuer’s impact at the club since his multi-million dollar move from Schalke in this summer’s transfer window. He stated that the player has exceeded all expectations and has been sensational in the games he has played in the current campaign.

Rummenigge claimed that Neuer has surely settled down well at the club and has taken less time than expected to make an impact. The Chairman hailed that player’s stunning save against Hoffenheim in the side’s last league fixture at Rhein-Neckar-Arena and admitted that his effort saved the match for the Bavarians.

The former Bavarian added that although he has limited threat in most of the matches he has played as Bayern have been dominant in defence since the very start of the season; the player still has made a stunning contribution to the great start to the campaign.
“He doesn’t have 20 shots to save in the course of a match, it's only two or three, but you have to be totally focused to make those two or three saves,” he concluded.
The Munich giants have started the season brilliantly and are leading the Bundesliga standings table with 19 points from the eight games played and have conceded only a single goal this far. The side is also leading the Group-A in the Champions League after securing two wins in two games.
