Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insists it is too early to talk about titles- Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has insisted that it is still too early to talk about titles despite a great start to the ongoing season. He claimed that the form off-late has not been consistent as the club suffered a
loss at the hands of Hannover in the Bundesliga.
The former Bavarian wants his team to perform well against Napoli in the Champions League as he understands the importance of a win would take them through to the next round.
Bayern are leading Group-A currently with seven points and are the most likely to qualify first from the pool of four teams which consists of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Villarreal-CF-c40899 and Manchester City also. The German giants have won two of the
three games they have took part in, drawing one.
Rummenigge stated that nobody would doubt the quality Bayern Munich has played with this year. He hailed the amazing start to the season but admits that it would be premature to predict anything at this point of the season. He
added that a team’s form can change at any time and it is still a long way to go until the end of the campaign.
“There is no doubt this is a good FC Bayern, but we have not won any title yet. It is only the end of October anyway. Maybe I should also remind you that we lost a game a week ago so that still happens occasionally,” he was quoted
as saying in an interview.
The Chairman added that the team suffered a shock loss to Hannover in the Bundesliga but came back well with wins against FC Ingolstadt in the German Cup and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FC-Nuremberg-c38162 in the Bundesliga. The chief stated that he is looking forward
to win on Wednesday at Allianz Arena and securing all three points.
“The important thing is that the wins against Ingolstadt and Nurnberg were a good response and now we want to carry on that way against Napoli. If we manage to win on Wednesday, then that would almost be it. This game is very important
for us,” the former West http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 international concluded.
