What has Karl Marx contributed to science?

  1. Marx was an economist and a historian, not a scientist. He contributed little, if anything, to more traditional scientific fields. Such as Biology, Mathematics, Physics, etc...

    He believed that economics and class struggle was a dominant role in history, and that societies evolved with their economic systems. He also believed that Socialism is a natural progression of Capitalism, improving on the shortcomings of Capitalistic systems.

    That's the gist of it, haven't read any of his works in a while, you get to do the rest of the research yourself.
