Karma Flash and Tam Lin heat up the home track in the Grade A4 Tonight's Hit Or Bust Jackpot Race at Sittingbourne
The Grade A4 Tonight's Hit Or Bust Jackpot Race will take place at Sittingbourne today, 8th April, 2012.
6 hounds will be competing over 480 metres flat, for a purse of £53.
The line-up consists of: Tam Lin, Karma Flash, Hollyoak Fallon, Mustang County, Ropewalk Lane, and Breis Spuds.
Karma Flash, son of Ballymac Maeve, out of Pony Plan, will enter this race with a certain benefit. He has raced here his entire career so the familiarity with the track will work in his favour.
He finished as a runner-up in the Grade A3 480m flat race on 3rd March, 2012. He lost the victory to Axminster, by 2 ¼  lengths. The winner finished in 29.49 seconds whereas Karma Flash’s finishing time was 29.67 seconds.
The S. Spiers trained hound finished in fifth place in the Grade A3 480m flat race on 15th March, 2012. A slight disappointment for the trainer but the hound soon redeemed himself as he claimed a placed finish in the Grade A4 480m Flat on 31st
March, 2012.
He finished as a runner-up, this time he lost to race favourite, Other Buddy, by a narrow margin of ¾ length.
Tam Lin has the bettors excited as he has been named favourite for this race, entering with odds of 7 to 4.
The son of Premier Fantasy, out of On Instinct, is less experienced than Karma Flash but he has demonstrated his talent in his short career-span. He has the same advantage of familiarity with the track as he hasn’t raced on any other track yet.
The R. Griffin trained black hound claimed a magnificent victory in the Grade A6 480m flat race on 17th March, 2012. He entered the race as a favourite with odds of 9 to 4 and defeated Witches Ring, by 3 ¼ lengths.
His victory continued into his next race as he succeeded over Run Carmen, by a neck in the Grade A5 480m Flat. The race ended in dead heat and he shared the victory with Verdun Georgie.
In his most recent start, he lost to the victory joint favourite Last Lunch, by a marginal difference of a neck in the Grade A4 Tonights Hit Or Bust Jackpot Race on 1st April, 2012.
It will be a close race and may end in dead heat. Tam Lin’s has more appeal and he may take the race but Karma Flash will not be an easy competitor to defeat.
