Hunt will not line up at 5/8. He will play fullback. Folou will play centres and Inglis will be the 5/8. Slater will be on the wing. Unlike the NSW selectors dropping Kite cold the QLD selectors didn't want the embarrassment of picking the current aussie fullback (Slater) on the wing so they named Hunt at 5/8. The QLDer's have so much talent in backs it doesn't really matter what number they are wearing anyway. All 7 qld backs will just run at Ben Cross and he will fall over looking stupid like he is.

it could be a plus for qld, a 5/8 is not wot it used to be its more like the role of most #9's these days an extra forward.hunt has a good running game and the skill if needed. JT will control the game. prince should've been there, but thats the team they think will win the games for qld so be it. hunt will do ok.

hahahaha.....i hope qld lose,bad decision prince is in better form,k/h isnt even that good,no.6 he isnt,and yeah locky made the transition to no.6 but he is 1 of the greatest plyrs to put on a boot k/h isnt even in the same ballpark as locky

Hunt hasn't even played at 5/8 for the Broncos. So why the h**l would the selectors place him there for Origin? I WAS looking forward to the match, but now I think I'll have a few beers with Scott Prince and watch Big Brother... Qld Selectors are idiots!

however i do expect karmichael to be trying on the footwork against some tired NSW forwards throughout the game!

Its interesting, but a good call. Slaters been the form fullback of the season, but hunts probaly still the best fullback in the game so something had to be done to fit them in. Im all for it, keen to see how he goes.

If it were me however, i might have chosen to play slater on the wing, hunt at fullback and inglis in the halves. The rep selectors however be they origin or kangaroos dont seem to like the idea too much

lockyer started fulback for the broncos,maroons. australia till bennet switched him to pivot which he made him his own on the club,state and the roos.hunt  will make it his own once lockyer retired.

he is a nz he should never get the chance to play origin or any other nz it is the battle of NSW v Qld so he should be packing his bags and not playing for Qld

I think that just put him there to be any extra runner. I think they QLD will play with 2 attacking fullbacks and one playmaker.
