Kaspersky 2009?I have Kaspersky internet security and antivirus 2009?

Question

I have Kaspersky internet security and antivirus 2009.. i thought i must install them both but after i installed Internet security and wanted to install the Anti virus it said that i already have a product of kaspersky labs and wouldn't install it.. did i do something wrong or is it that i only can install one of them not both?

you dont need anti virus 2009 if u have internet security

Kaspersky Internet Security is a suite which means it offers full protection and firewall you don't need Kaspersky Anti-Virus nor can you install two Anti -Virus programs on your computer it will cause conflict.

you do not want antivirus 2009!!! you must uninstall it!

I had it and it kept displaying popups all the time. I used the process at http://www.pchubs.com/blogs/antivirus-20... to remove it.

Kaspersky Internet Security(KIS) includes all the features of Kaspersky Anti-virus(KAV) plus a firewall and other features. You only need one, two will conflict, besides it is redundant. Keep KIS and try and get a refund on KAV if you bought it online, if you bought it in a store then you are out of luck.
