I have the above security system installed on my Computer. When I switched on this morning there was a message in my TaskBar from Windows Security Centre telling me my Computer was at risk as my anti virus was switched off. On checking, my security shows as being fully functional. Windows gave me the option to monitor my own anti virus which I selected to do which resulted in the little Red warning shield dissapearing from my task bar. Which one of the two should I believe

  1. I Have Kaspersky ISS 7.135. When I Had XP Pro, This Was Common.

If Kaspersky Says It's Working, It Is.

When I Switched To Vista, This Problem Went Away.

As Long As The Kaspersky Interface Shows Green, It's Working.

Something Yellow On The Interface Means Somethings Not Right, Your Database Could Be Out Of Date, Or You Haven't Done A Full Scan Yet.

If The Interface Shows Red, Then It's Not Working. Something Is Wrong And Needs To Be Fixed.

    Hope This Helps.

edit: If The "K" In Taskbar Is Red, It's Working, Gray, It's Not.  That's A Quick Tip ;)

  2. it sounds odd so i would take caution

  3. Your computer is infected with rogue software. download and run a good rogue antispyware removal from http://www.spywaregeeks.com to check your computer for spyware.

  4. I think you had better upgrade Kaspersky and clean viruses first.
