I already know that norton slows down your computer more, but which is better at doing what it was made to do.

  1. no confusion..

just use kaspersky without any confusion.. :D

  2. I am a registered beta tester for antivirus/antispwyare, and most other software that is not yet available to the general public.

Nortons is pure junk and continues to get worse.  They are only good at marketing skills and unabel to viruses, or delete them 100%. Plus if you ever go to remove Nortons, you are left with over 350 fragments of the software hidden in your files, folders, subfolders and system.  Will cause serious conflict as their Nortons tool will not remove as claims.

Plus Nortons will eat up all of your resources.

Go with Kaspersky, Russia, has a much higher rate of detection.

  3. Kaspersky simply KILLS Norton. It uses better and newer technologies, it's detection rate is higher in possibly every kind of malware and viruses imaginable and (as already said...) is also a lot lighter on the system resources than Norton and also is the world's fastest Anti-Virus manufacturer to respond to new security threats and actually protect their loyal (myself included) customers from these nasty things. Think that's enough... isn't it? :] (I cannot even start to count how many times I was saved from a new nasty malware because of Kaspersky's active and updated protection! It's a Russian miracle! Hehe). I love it.

  4. Kaspersky, it has a higher detection rate than Norton. In recent testing from AV-Comparatives, Kaspersky had a detection rate of 98.3% and Norton has 97.7%. Avira Antivir performed the best. Kaspersky also has better real-time protection, that way, viruses and other stuff will have a lower chance of entering your computer. You can look at the full report of all programs at this link on page 5 to compare detection rates.
