...and there was a folder in my documents named " ! " full of WinRAR files of almost every single game created, I couldn't find this file so kaspersky helped me. This happened earlier today, and I'm still deleting them now, I'm so confused. Does anyone know what this could have been?

  1. That is very odd, I have never heard of something like this. It could be a backdoor/rootkit. The large amount of files that you didn't put there would definitely suggest some sort of downloader. Try running SAS as G suggested. Do a full scan.

    ------

And then do a full scan with rootkit detection and heuristic set to high with kaspersky, this will take several hours and eat up all resources so start it before you go to bed and select the shut down computer after the scan finishes option(or leave it on if you want). In the morning turn your computer on and see what it has found, use the "neutralize all" option.

If you observe further odd behavior or have problems then post here with all the details you can give including your OS, version of Kaspersky and anything else you think relevant including any behavior you think might have exposed your computer(like downloading music, visiting a crack site or other questionable website).

  2. I Recommend Download and Scan Use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:

Download, install, update and select Full Scan.

Remove all infections that it finds after scan.

  3. I would say downloading games off the internet that are infected.kaspersky is a good program to use, but sftrt you are done with kaspersky, scan you comp. with the FREE version of superantispyware

This will pick up any thing that Kasp. didnt find. In the future you can check if websites are by going to
