  1. The problem is that there are still remaining items for AVG in your system, you need to manually delete it or my best suggestion is to download PERFECT UNINSTALLER V5.8

    Here i will share to you my serial 0EEE7-8F0AE-0KD33-YREEC

    Just download the software here www.PerfectUninstaller.com and it will washout all remaining components of AVG in your PC. And there you are, you can install any antivirus to your PC... Good Luck...

  2. you better reinstall it again but you make sure to delete first AVG before re installing kaspersky

  3. restart your computer  and before hat go and check in your control pannel -> Add or remove programs.

  4. did you remove avg via add/remove programs ? do the following: start>control panel> add/remove programs>check for avg there.AVG

    is not just the avg anti virus  but other programs associated like AVG root kit etc remove all AVG components and reboot your system then install kapersky. it should work no probs.

    let me know and dont forget if you think its the best answer !

    good luck

  5. Doing a regular uninstall should remove AVG:

        * Start

        * Control Panel

        * Got to Add/Remove Programs or Programs > then to Uninstall a program for Vista users

        * Look for AVG and click on it to highlight it

        * Hit “Remove” and follow the instructions to uninstall AVG

    If for some reason AVG uninstall failed using the normal method above, here is also another option for removing the pesky anti-virus.

        * Download the Avg installer here: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/us/frt/...

        * When the download finishes click on the .exe file to run it

        * A Welcome box appears click “Next” and accept the user agreement

        * Now it will scan your computer and check the status of AVG

        * When it finishes scanning you should get options to “Add or Remove Components”, “Repair Installation”, and “Uninstall Product”

    CCleaner can remove AVG files give that a try. http://www.ccleaner.com/

  6. it looks avg is not fully removed from your pc , first click on start>run> type regedit  then HKEY_CURRENT_USER serach for grisoft delete it and it will work and then download ccleaner and do the scan fix the problem
