Figure Skating should never be considered a sport.  The judge's scores are based upon opinion and not objective data which makes it a glorified popularity contest.  Don't get me wrong, they are incredibly athletic but so are dancers on Broadway.  

I find the judging really gets in the way of enjoying a good performance, especially one as artistic as Ms Witt's.
