Kate Middleton says when she marries William, she wants to be called "Queen Catherine", what do you think?

.. does this make her fit for the role of Queen of England, or is she just a jumped up title grabber.

1.  There is no guarantee that William will ever be king.

2.  There is no such person as the "Queen of England", and hasn't been since 1707.  Check the present Queen's official title....no mention of England.

I think she's going to have to marry  William and then stay with him through his playboy life before she gets to think about becoming queen. We all had hopes of Diana being the queen, and look how that turned out!  I guess if Kate can get down the aisle and then turn her head for the next 40 years and ignore what her husband does on the side, then she can think about her new name.  I don't think she can do it.  It's hard to be married to a spoiled brat.

She is perhaps being a little presumptuous. It is not up to her what title she will be given.

Exactly what title do YOU want her to have?  Isn't Queen Catherine the proper title for her if her name is Catherine and she is married to the British King?

I think it would be best if she at least waited until the present Queen is dead before making such an announcement.  Seems in very poor taste.  Also best not to count your chickens.  A lot could happen between now and William becoming King.

Based on the current performance of the House of Windsor, there is no guarantee that it will be Catherine.
