Kate Spade Riley Boot - sizing question?

I am about to order the riley rain boot online, but I'm not sure what size to get. I wear a 6 in all my other shoes, but it seems like everyone suggests ordering up. I don't plan on wearing super thick socks all the time. Should I stay with a 6 or go up to a 7? There are no returns, so I really need to get it right! Thanks for any advice
