Thanks for the links to IMDB, but the selection is a little overwhelming. Maybe post your favorites by her?

  1. If you don't mind b&w, I'd suggest "Alice Adams". She lost the Best Actress Oscar to Bette Davis for "Dangerous", but Bette herself stated that Katharine Hepburn should have won! Also, Hattie McDaniel delivers a very funny performance, so good that the Academy decided to add Best Supporting Actor and Actress categories. Of course, Hattie did net one for her performance in "Gone With the Wind".

She's amazing in so many movies. "On Golden Pond" is a funny, touching film in which she co-stars with Henry Fonda (who won an Oscar for it), Jane Fonda, Dabney Coleman and Doug McKeon. There are so many great lines in this! My family quotes it all of the time.

  2. The Philadelphia Story is a good one.

  3. Here is all the info you need!

    http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0000031/

There is trivia, movies, music, bio and pictures. Have fun!! Great actress!!

  4. Why not go to the IMDB site and search for her name.  Then you'll find the movies she was in from the most recent down to the earliest.  You might want to start with the earliest you can find on DVD's and work from there.
