Kathlatino favourite for Best Odds At BetVictor.com Fillies´ Handicap
Kathlatino has got a solid chance of winning the Best Odds At BetVictor.com Fillies´ Handicap at Ayr in England on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. The winner of the class-5 event will walk away with a cash prize of £2,264.
The going will be good to firm in the 1 mile race, which is scheduled to start at 16:10 GMT. Following runners will be seen in action: Kathlatino, Ykikamoocow, Social Rhythm, All For You, Emeralds Spirit and Sabratha.
Earlier, a total of eight runners had lined up for action at Ayr, but Sonning Rose and Dubai Bay are doubtful for the race. Both were decent runners and could have made things interesting today.
However, the absence of a couple of runners will not be a big issue for the organisers. At the moment, it seems that Kathlatino will walk away with a comfortable victory today, as she is in pretty decent form.
The five-year-old mare has participated in 13 events until now, winning one of them. In addition to that, she has secured the runner up and third place on the same number of times in her career.
Although the Micky Hammond’s trainee does not have a good strike rate, her recent form is what matters most in the end. She managed to be triumphant in her most recent run, which shows that she is carrying a decent momentum at the moment.
Kathlatino will be partnered by Kelly Harrison in the race. The young jockey does not have a good strike, thus the punters will be discouraged to risk money on him.
Furthermore, Ykikamoocow will also be the one to watch out for in the race, as she has a decent record and has been performing well over the past few months. She has entered 14 events until now, winning three of them. In addition to that, she has also secured
the third spot on the same number of times, which clearly indicates that she has the potential to fight at the front consistently.
The Geoffrey Harker’s trainee performed brilliantly in her most recent run, as she finished above everyone in the end. She definitely has the skills to challenge Kathlatino at Ayr.
