Katrine Holm Sorensen clinches Women’s 400m IM title: 2011 Danish Short Course Nationals
Katrine Holm Sorensen demolished her rivals during the penultimate day of the 2011 Danish Short Course Nationals in Thisted, Denmark, on Sunday, November 27. Katrine Holm grabbed the Women’s 400m Individual Medley title.
Holm was battling against her strongest rivals of the arena, Julie Leth-Espensen and Rikke Møller Pedersen. As soon as the final race kicked off in the pool, Holm thrashed her competitors by banging the finishing divider in a striking time of 4 minutes and
40.39 seconds.
In the meantime, Julie Leth-Espensen earned silver title in the respective race by claiming the finishing barrier in a time of 4 minutes and 40.80 seconds and Rikke Moller Pedersen settled at third spot by clicking the finishing blockade in a mark of 4 minutes
and 46.93 seconds.
Julie Aglund Lauridsen earned fourth place honours in the respective splash by smacking the finishing fence in a time of 4 minutes and 50.17 seconds, while the fifth place went to Mathilde Huss-Hansen in a blot of 4 minutes and 56.60 seconds.
Additionally, Cecilie F. Jensen claimed sixth position in the respective swim by banging the finishing barricade in a time of 5 minutes and 01.67 seconds. Last, but not the least, the seventh place went to Sara Krog Christoffersen in a time of 5 minutes
and 04.14 seconds.
Meanwhile, the Women’s 200m freestyle relay crown was taken over by the squad of Jeanette Ottesen Gray, Julie Brondum Petersen, Josephina Bartela and Mette Pedersen in a winning blot of 1 minutes and 42.19 seconds. On the other hand, the Men’s 200m freestyle
relay title was clinched by quartet of Jakob Andkjaer, Morten Klarskov, Soren Dahl and Jonas Sorensen in a scintillating blot of 1 minutes and 29.14 seconds.
Furthermore, the Men’s 400m medley relay crown was snatched by the team of Magnus Jakupsson, Morten Klarskov, Soren Dahl and Jakob Andkjaer in an outstanding mark of 3 minutes and 37.32 seconds. Moreover, the Women’s 400m medley relay title was captured
by the group of Line Gregersen, Josephina Bartela, Jeanette Ottesen Gray and Julie Brondum Petersen in a spot of 4 minutes and 05.02 seconds.
