does anyone have a hot tip on cheap scooter/car rentals in kauai?

Sign up for Budget rent a car frequent renter membership.  It's free and they will mail you coupons each month with great deals.  I've been able to rent an SUV for a week for $300.  You can rent a small car for about $172/week using the coupons.  Costco also has good deals on car rentals.

I don't recommend a scooter as it rains just about every day here in Kauai and the roads get slick.
