Kauto Star or Denman. Cheltenham Gold Cup. Who will win.?

I think Denman after his race on Saturday. He really looked the business.

Denman's performance was one of the best I've seen and I can't wait for the Cheltenham Gold Cup. I'd pick Kauto star at this stage but Denman can improve before March.

Think that the going will be the deciding factor, I am sure that it will be Kauto Star UNLESS the going is worse than good to soft in which case I would go for Denman.

Chances are it will be good going at Cheltenham, so as Kauto Stars' owner said "Bring it on!!"

your assuming its a 2 horse race i think exotic dancer will have something to say about that. it wasnt beaten far by kauto last time and i think exotic has more improvement in him come march . im not saying its going to win im just saying rule it out at your peril .

denman was impressive reminded me of mill house (remember him ) but wait till he races in better company on decent ground ?

yes i was impressed with denmans performance on saturday but 9/4 6/4 in a place is far to short so is kauto stars price.bernard says get on  kicking king e/way @ 40/1 with corals. aye aye . you will notice boyle sports are only going 20/1.

the most important thing to remember is that both trainer & owner said denman would improve for saturday's run , so when he's 100% fit there's only one winner.

the 5/2 still available with some bookies is a steal.

as for exoctic dancer , more chance of me winning  the lottery than exoctic beating either kauto or denman.

i think thats a brave statment to make on the back of denmans recent victory. For me these are two class horses in a league of there own. we all now they can both stay the distance but from an anti-post point of view i would be more concerned about the british weather.

the bookmakers for sure will favour the going as good as they are both proven and splitting them will be hard as ever.

if you can predict the rain fall  in march then i would say lump on even as we speak you cant split them on current prices.

For me KAUTO STAR is my gut feeling he needs the firmer ground but i wouldnt write him off on soft.

saying that if the ground is heavy then expect the odds to  favour DENMAN who will chew this ground up and eat it for breakfast but not whithout a fight though.

One thing we no for sure is this will be a fantastic race so goodluck mr denman but for me my heart says KAUTO STAR.

Kauto Star has raced in much better company than Denman. The official handicapper has put Denman one point behind both Kauto Star and Exotic Dancer which sould answer your question.
