What would be your value priced e/w (placed horse) in the gold cup as there is no way one of these two will not make the 1st & 2nd spot (barring accidents)..I`m looking for live outsider..

Exotic Dancer` has chased `Kauto Star` home many a time.do you think the `Dancer` can dance into 3rd place..

  1. Kauto by far. He wil definitely make it a double.

Check out this mini game, also have attached a link for tommo's podcast. Its always worth a listen!

  2. Denman will win it. Kauto Star won it last year in a slow-paced race, which suited a horse such as Kauto. Denman has Stamina with a capital S and will force the pace this time.

Exotic Dancer has got some problem with his health. This horse will not win and may not even get a place.

You can get 2/1 Denman and 6/5 Kauto Star with Betfair at the moment. I'd go for the 2/1, personally.

  3. defo kauto star for me just has that extra bit of class and experience over denman.

i wud of sed kicking king is a gd e/w bet but he has withdrawn so il go for exotic dancer at 14-1

alexander taipan is a big price at 100-1 cud go well

  4. If its good ground Kauto Star, if its good to soft Denman, back Exotic Dancer each way 16-1 in Ladbrokes good luck see you at Cheltenham

  5. Remember Norton's coin and Desert Orchid? We might see Exotic Dancer leaving the pair of them standing. (On a personal note i doubt that very much and am looking forward to the race, but can't seperate either Denman or Kauto Star)

    (OK, Kauto Star)

    (No, Denman)

    (I don't know)

  6. I'm going for Exotic dancer he's usually there or thereabouts and is a good e/w price with a run. Trying to  be up with the pace didn't suit him so if he stays out of trouble and is delivered late he could spring a suprise.Having said that Denman is a machine and Kauto seems to have stopped making mistakes.I'll probably do a reverse forecast too.

  7. You're right 1 of them WILL win, the other will probably be second ( and if not, third)

The way it is at the moment I'd say Kauto......but if it's heavy on the day I'm sure it'll be Denman

  8. i cant split them mick it all depends on the going and the pace of the race if its good ground or the pace isn't that quick kauto will win if the ground is soft or a fast pace i favour denman as he has more stamina and i also think denman is the better jumper a lively outsider e/w could be gungadu i know hes only a handicapper but you could say that about a lot of them and its in form

  9. This question has been asked a few time on here in the past few weeks and the definitive answer will only be know next Friday afternoon (14th March) after the race has been run. I have been looking at the odds http://www.cheltenham-festival.co.uk and think that given Denman is the better odds of the two he is the one to be on.

It really is sooooooooo close. We all know that kauto has been there, done has the class but in all honesty we don't just how good Denman is  He has improved every race!

One thing is for certain - it will be a thrilling race!

  10. kauto wins . save your money(back sweet kiln in the 5.10 the same day) & enjoy a great sporting event.

  11. I love Exotic Dancer as i won decent money when he won the 2 big handicaps at cheltenham last season then have backed him to follow home Kauto in forecasts recently. My only concern is the injury he has had and if he isnt 100% you could do worse than back something like Halcon Generaldais e/w if the ground comes up soft ... whatever i cannot wait for this race ... could be another Arkle v Mill House
