Anzor Kavazashvili has shared his views after the Russian national team drew 1-1 against Cote d’Ivoire on Wednesday
Russian Football Union Chairman, Anzor Kavazashvili, has commented on the Russian national team’s future prospects after seeing his national side in action in an International friendly game against Ivory Coast at Lokomotiv Stadium.

Kavazashvili has urged Russia to step up in the near future if they are to qualify for the World Cup. He admitted that there is a lot of hard work that is needed to be done before they can say Russia are making significant progress.
Kavazashvili believes that the Russian national football team is likely to develop and progress under the new head coach. The Italian tactician signed a two-year contract after replacing d**k Advocaat.
