Im noticing on autotrader there are no 250R's (newer model) up there, and I checked a few dealer sites and no one seems to have any. Is this an america model? Anyone know where I can find a new one?

  1. check out kijiji.com

  2. There are five on ebay right now. From $1000 to $3650.

Maybe if you'd look in Bike Trader instead of Auto Trader you'd find something.

For a new one check out your local Kawasaki dealer.

Refer to it by its platform designation, EX250.

  3. I own a 2002 250, I'm in Buffalo, NY you are not that far from here and down here they are everywhere. with the exchange rate being like it is and if you have you mind set on picking up a new 250 come on down there are 4 dealerships within a 5 mile radius of me and the extra money you will have to pay when taking it over the border (i'm not sure how that even works, is'nt "duty" such a dumb name?) is well worth it when you consider the amazing mpg you get from the bike. Or maybe not so amazing when you consider that we can only ride it 4-6 months out of the year...lol good luck!

  4. They are sold all over but, the problem is the demand for them, right now.  There are a bunch of dealerships that are charging up to 20% more than the bike lists for because the demand is so high.  If you are looking for the 08 model used, expect to pay full retail price and possibly even a little more.  Most dealerships are sold out of them and people are keeping them because they are new, still.

  5. http://www.buysell.com/root/detail/Centr...

Someone in ontario has one in the buy & sell classifieds

Their phone ## is on the ad at the link I sent

Only 6000 miles (KM?) with 30 day warranty.

PS - the 2008 (US) model has approx 5% less power than the 2007 Canadian version (listed in the ad I gave).
