Kawasaki Ninja 250r piston problem?

Im getting piston slap from what sounds to be both pistons, how much could this cost me to have some one fix this??? One of my local dealers sed it would cost me $750 ......But they will also charge you $4000 dollars for packing fees if you buy a bike from them

  1. Isn't the Ninja 250r a 2008 model? Shouldn't this be covered by warranty?

    I'd take it to another mechanic for a second opinion anyway.

    Maybe the carbs just need syncd and the valves need adjusted.


  2. try fitting a new timing chain....would be the first thing to go...

    pistons should be good for 80,000.Ks
