Kawasaki ZZR250, Cam chain tensioner, is it ok to start my bike??

I need to find out some information, in regards to my Motorbike; Kawasaki ZZR250.

Ok, so the cam chain tensioner is half unscrewed on my Kawasaki ZZR 250, I know I have to go get it correctly placed in, but....

If I s***w it in myself, and just start the bike, without riding it, am I risking hurting the vulves, or would this be ok, just aslong as I don't ride it, just having it idle there while reving it a little.

i wouldn't risk it unless you really know what you'ree doing..Something that might cost less then 20 bucks to fix could turn into a heck of alot more..Good luckk
