I'm thinking of buying a Kawasaki Zephyr 1100.....It's a 1999 model, 1 owner about 76,000 on the clock. I want to know if it's a good bike....if it's reliable etc? someone told me they're very juicy. Is that true? What would it do to the gallon? (roughly)

overall, would you say they are good bikes.

thanks

  1. As teh first guest stated, a Zephyr with 76,000 miles on the clock is past its useful life. The gear box is weak particularly second gear. Also the valves will be well worn by this time.

Fuel consumption is 35-42mpg, teh bike is heavy and thirsty, but suprisingly fast upto 100mph.
