Kawasaki klx250s HP

does any one know the actual horse power i can only find the 249cc on their website (please don't answer i recommend the...because its more powerful)

    but that is on a 1982 model.  I would suspect the newer ones are slightly higher with more advanced technology but probably not over about 19-21 hp tops.

    a similar listing on a 2007 model doesn't give specifics on horsepower.

    I know several people who have the newer versions that are not real pleased with the power to weight ratio.  one guy I know dropped a tooth off the countershaft sprocket (from 14 to 13 I believe) and stated it made a world of difference on his.


  2. I recommend the toro riding lawn tractor with 72" cut because it has more hp {HA HA}

  3. Im going to estimate 28. It takes a lot of engineering to get 2 hp out of 1 cubic inch thus I would say a little less. 1 hp out of 10cc is much more common and still good tuning. Cheers!
