  1. the tank holds A amount of gas. the miles per gallon it gets is B. multiply average amount of miles the bike gets times the amount of gallons and thats how many miles you can go on a tank of gas. reset the odometer each time you fill up and you will know when u need more gas. 250's will get u tired quick and are sold out everywhere for a year at least.

  2. Counting miles. You fill up and ride, when the gas light comes on, count how many miles you drove since you filled up. Divide that number by how many gallons the tank is. That's your MPG. So if you drove 200 miles on 4 gallons of gas, that's 50MPG.

Now if you fill up and drive 100 miles, you know you have half a tank left.

  3. look in the tank, and or shake it
