Kayak paint?

hi, i just bought myself a kayak .but unfortunately its looking a bit battered and scuffed . does anyone out there know if theres any special type of paint i could use to smarten it up?

Its a kayak dude, its gonna and supposed to get scuffed. Besides, they are battle scars! Your boat wears them proudly, and if people ask, even if you didn't put them there, say you did.

i'd agree with everything said above me but if your worried about the look of the paint job consider is that the design.

First...what is the material? Fiber glass/ resin or a hard or soft plastic. Remove any attached accessories. Sand the boat. Wash with alcohol. Try an epoxy paint! Some plastics will not accept paints. Best inquire of the manufacturer.
