Kayaking in Charelston SC?

I am going to SC next week and need to know all the best places to go. We have a 13.5 ft tandem touring so no ocean for us. Where to put in, best views, etc. We will be staying in West Ashley with a friend so anything with in 30 minutes of that. Thanks.
