  1. yep - try the dales canoe club. A really good Kayaking club that I used to go to. Practice in Starback swimming pool during winter and in the river Nidd at Knaresborough during summer.  Also there are lots of optional river trips and weekends away you can do with them.

    hghly recommended - great club, great people. You can do star awards with them up to three star and they can arange it for you if you want to go higher
