spent only six hours on my last trip along the coast. It was great and ofcourse paddled too far and the sun set as we surfed back so interested to hear about your adventures and the areas that have been the best. Have found the coast paddling the greatest. On the map about 15 kl. It took us 3 hours to the furthest cliff but only 2 hours to get back as the sun was setting.

  1. That's sounds awesome!

I just got a kayak and a beginner.  So my adventures are yet to come.  I kayaked on Mother's Day (its what I wanted to do)

at Sproat Lake, hugged the shoreline mostly...decided to get brave and started to kayak towards the Mars Water bombers, well, the wind started to pick up quickly and I was out at the middle of the lake, thinking of hovering by the water bomber, but waves were making the water bomber slap up and down, thought I might get sucked under, so decided to zig zag back to shore...what normally would of taken me 5minutes took me 35minutes.    So I got lots to learn, especially with sudden weather conditions and to use my rudder!  (forgot to use it).  Future goal:  to the the Famous Broken Group Islands, off the West Coast of Vancouver Island.
