Kaybeew looking to be competitive in Walters UK Ltd Handicap Chase
Kaybeew will be eying a strong run in the Walters UK Ltd Handicap Chase at Ffos Las in England on Monday, December 17, 2012. He did not start this year in a positive manner, but has been doing a decent job over the past few months, which would have given
him immense confidence.
However, there are some decent challengers up against him and things will not be easy for him in the class-3 contest, which is going to start at 14:45 GMT. All of them have been trained well, thus the competition will be an interesting one.
The overall distance to cover in the race will be 3 miles, 1 furlong and 110 yards, which means that the participants will have to display a solid stamina in order to take the top spot. Moreover, they will have to deal with heavy ground conditions, which
have been caused because of the overnight rain.
This will make it hard for all of them and some of the trainers might consider pulling their challengers out of the competition, which is worth £5,848.
Incentivise has managed to get the attention of the bookmakers, as he has been given the highest odds for a victory in the race. He will enter the competition with a starting price of 5 to 2. He will definitely get the attention of the punters, as his recent
performances have been really impressive.
The nine-year-old gelding managed to succeed in his previous two chase events, which means that he will be chasing a hat-trick today. He is not overly dependent on track conditions, which is a good sign.
However, even the best of the stallions can struggle under extreme conditions, thus it will be a big challenge for him to take the top spot today.
The Richard Lee’s trainee has been successful in six events over fences, so his fans will be expecting a positive result from him yet again.
Compared to him, Kaybeew does not have a lot of experience, but he is not short of talent. Therefore, it will not be a clever idea to rule him out of contention completely.
Sam Twiston-Davies will be partnering him in the race and the pair has been successful in the past, which will give them the confidence to shine at Ffos Las.
