Kayf Aramis expected to dominate Shloer Handicap Hurdle
Kayf Aramis is expected to dominate proceedings in Shloer Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham in England on Thursday, April 19, 2012. The winner of the class-2 race will run away with a cash prize of £7,507.
A total of 17 runners had been attracted towards the race and their names are as follows: Michel Le Bon, The Sliotar, Phare Isle, Safran De Cotte, Kayf Aramis, Global Power, Laustra Bad, Pause And Clause, South O´the Border, Sonofvic, Secret Tune,
Cloudy Too, Native Gallery, The Sliotar, Ogee, Firm Order, Allthekingshorses and Golan Way.

However, the latter eight of the above mentioned runners have been ruled out of action due to several reasons. The details are not yet confirmed, as their respective trainers will clarify the situation later.
With the omission of the eight quality participants, only nine horses will now be seen in action in the event, which is scheduled to start at 16:20 GMT. The going will be good and the distance to cover is 3 miles, which will definitely test the stamina
of the participants.
Although Kayf Aramis has does not have a good stroke rate in races over hurdles, he has the experience to ballet for the top position. Due to this, the bookies have shown confidence in him and the bettors might also risk money in his favour.
The 10-year-old gelding has entered 35 hurdles until now, but has only managed to win three of them and finished runner up on eight occasions. In addition to that, he has also secured the third place four times, which shows that he is quite capable
of fighting for top positions.
The Nigel Twiston-Davies’ runner will not make things easy for the rest of the horses, but he lacks form at the moment. He was unable to make an impression in his most recent outing, as he finished eighth in it. He will have to make a much better effort
in order to prevail at Cheltenham.
Kayf Aramis will be ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies, who is a very good jockey and has won 69 races over hurdles at a decent strike rate.
Michel Le Bon, The Sliotar, Phare Isle and Safran De Cotte are also good competitors and have a solid chance of fighting for victory today.
