Kaylin Moss pockets Girl’s 200 yard IM title: 2011 High School State Championships
Kaylin Moss of SR Wilton impressed the arena with her swim at the 2011 High School State Championships, in New Haven. The championship was held in Connecticut from November 18-19.
SR Wilton’s Kaylin Moss surpassed the Girl’s 200 yard Individual Medley race against her contenders in the pool by tapping the finishing divider in a winning mark of 2 minutes and 04.34 seconds. Meanwhile, Gabrielle Daigneault of SO Hall outclassed Shannon
Ahearn of SR Trumbull by claiming the finishing barrier in a time of 2 minutes and 05.75 seconds to settle at second place in the respective race. In addition, Ahearn settled at third place in a time of 2 minutes and 06.76 seconds.
Morgan Karetnick claimed fourth place honours in the respective splash by banging the finishing divider in a time of 2 minutes and 07.76 seconds, while Caroline Orem of JR Darien was placed at fifth spot in a time of 2 minutes and 08.18 seconds. Verity Abel
went to clinch the sixth position by striking the finishing hurdle in a time of 2 minutes and 09.14 seconds.
Adelyn Graf of SR New Canaan settled at seventh place after she touched the finishing wall in a blot of 2 minutes and 09.57 seconds. In the meantime, Theresa Goehring of SR Mercy grabbed eighth position in the likely race by thumping the finishing divider
in a time of 2 minutes and 09.59 seconds.
Additionally, Oliva Leunis of JR Darien and Katie Evans of SO Greenwich got ninth and tenth positions by touching the finishing barrier in a blot of 2 minutes and 09.64 seconds and 2 minutes and 09.68 seconds, respectively. Moreover, Alyssa Storino of SO
Trumbull earned eleventh place honours by beating the finishing hurdle in a time of 2 minutes and 10.63 seconds.
Stephanie Czulewicz settled at twelfth place in the respective meet as she ended her swim in a spot of 2 minutes and 12.39 seconds. Due to her impressive splash in the pool, Kaylin Moss was honoured with the golden crown after the session’s conclusion.
