Kaymer outclassed his rivals in the first round of Dubai World Championship
The young ace golfer from Germany, Martin Kaymer, has showed his class and brilliance to his rivals by snatching the lead over the point’s table in the season’s final golf event, named Dubai World Championship, which is being held in Dubai
these days.
German’s veteran rival Graeme McDowell has acknowledged the fact that Martin Kaymer is the top contender for the top rank of Europe. Presently, Martin Kaymer is European Tour money leader and it seems Graeme McDowell has to display some extraordinary performance
to overtake the twenty-five year old German ace golfer.
The first day of the Dubai World Championship golf event was not very encouraging for the Northern Irishman Graeme as he was not able to give his arch rival a good challenge. It is to be notified that after the first day of the event Graeme McDowell is five
shots behind Martin Kaymer.
It is to be noticed that Graeme McDowell needs to win the ongoing lucrative competition to overtake Martin Kaymer and snatch the Europe’s top spot of golfers. But his recent performance of under par seventy two in the first round of the Dubai World Championship
is a proof that he needs to work hard to shorten the point’s gap over the point’s table.
On the other hand the companion of the thirty-one year old Graeme McDowell, Martin Kaymer displayed a good game. It is also to be noticed that the German ace can usurp the world number one title from his British arch rival Lee Westwood if he wins the ongoing
event.
In the day's play Kaymer utilized his skills pretty well and carded a brilliant birdie and an eagle on the second and third whole respectively.
The day was very lucky for the European veteran golfer Robert Karlsson as he performed superbly well and finished the day at an outstanding under par sixty five. The former European number one showed his remarkable talent with class and carded a total of
eight birdies and one eagle in the day’s play.
The recent performance of the Swedish golfing giant Karlsson is very special because he missed some major golfing events in the last season and it was important for him to perform better to gain the lost confidence.
Robert Karlsson was followed by the young and dynamic Noh Seung Yul of South Korea. Yul displayed an impressive game and recorded a smashing sixty six under par to end the day in a superb way.
On the other hand the forty-one year old Thai golfer Thongchai Jaidee also managed to stay put and finished forth over the standings table by ending the day at sixty eight under par whereas the current world number one Lee Westwood seemed a bit out of touch.
It is to be remembered that the British golfing star Westwood is currently suffering from calf injury and this is probably the reason behind his not so good performance in the first round of the Dubai World Championship golf event. Westwood finished his
day by at under par sixty nine just one shot adrift of the Thai veteran Thongchai Jaidee.
The thirty-one year old Northern Irishman Graeme McDowell seemed pretty upset with his performance and told the media that it was not a good day for him at all. He added that Kaymer played a superb game as compared to him which was certainly very frustrating
for him.
McDowell told that there is still a plenty of time remaining to catch Kaymer and he will try his level best to display a better game. The Irishman admired the game of Martin Kaymer and said that he is very impressed with the way the German has outplayed
him. He continued and said that Kaymer kept his nerves smartly and dominated the day.
