  1. To many model specific, technical questions.

  2. Air pressure in your forks should only be atmospheric pressure,

don't mess with them if you don't know what you are doing.

Ring this guy he rebuilds them all the time, you will find him very help full.

  3. not sure of the amount of oil u need in,lift bike, remove front wheel, loosen for tops, loosen lower drain plug and let oil drain...lift out springs and compressfork up/down till no more out comes out.refit drain plug bolt..

u need proper bike fork oil. and a measuring jug.fill to corect amount whilst pumping forks up/down to situate oil.

if it takes 600cc,add an extra 20cc,also a 50 mmspring spacer woiont go a miss..its preloads thesprings so it wont drop as much when you sit on it...replace springs, tops, wheel and pump up to about 7psi and try it out..

  4. 15 psi is too high. You'll blow your seals and its a slag of a job replacing them, should be no more than 7 or 8 psi. Get a manual or go to a bike-specific website for oil capacity. Make sure you get the same amount in each leg. Go to a bike shop for fork oil, they'll sell you the right stuff.
