Malaysia’s Chua Cheah Lin proved that she is ready to take bigger challenges she easily outplayed her compatriot, Lee Tong Xin, in Girl’s Singles D2 category of Maybank National Circuit Kedah Open 2013 (1st leg) in Malaysia, on Thursday, May 30.
The incredible Chua Cheah, who participated in this championship as an un-seeded player, impressed the crowd by playing superb badminton. She took just 23 minutes to register a comprehensive victory over Lee Tong.
Chua Cheah was in wonderful form as she did not miss any chance of earning points. She remained calm in the arena and easily ended up this second round clash with a stunning margin of 21-7 and 21-9.
Meanwhile, Lee Tong could not perform well as she was completely helpless against the positive and aggressive play of her opponent. She failed to match the pace of the match and eventually lost the contest in a humiliating way.
The impressive speed and powerful strokes of Chua Cheah helped her to take control of the pace right from the opening rallies of opening game.
Chua Cheah showed that she has got top class skills on court and remained successful in taking a strong position in the arena.
