Keegan Bradley is eyeing the Irish Open with all the right vibes. Ireland has been his ancestor’s homeland and has brought plenty of warm thoughts.
The Irish Open will mark Bradley’s European Tour debut as a professional golfer and he seems pretty excited about his first European venture.
The Irish Open is special because it is not only his first European tournament but Ireland is also the place where his forefathers have lived.
“The area is unbelievable and the people are extraordinary, I didn’t expect it to be like this, they have been great to me”.
“I got to see a lot of the local tourist spots – I’ve just been having a blast everywhere I’ve been. Everybody’s spirit has been so great, and it’s cool to come to a place and experience all of that,” said Bradley.
Ireland has been a blessing for Bradley. They way he was welcomed was as if he has returned home after a long time.
He mentioned having chills down his spine when the local people greeted the golfer by saying ‘welcome home’.
“Hundreds of people have told me ‘welcome home’, which gives me chills every time they say it. It’s such a neat thing to be able to say to me, because I wasn’t sure how I was going to be accepted over here, and everybody has just been so great,” said Bradley.
His Irish Open dream can become a reality if he holds on to all that he has received from Ireland. If he is able to convert all the love and happiness into a brilliant play of golf, this trip might end up being the best tournament of his entire life.
The American holds respect and gratitude for the people and seemed in the right vibes before the Irish Open ignites.
Bradley marks his first European appearance and it is the right time to strike a win at the European course. With the amount of love and respect Bradley received, he surely has the right ingredients for a great win.
All he requires is a consistent level of play and the right amount of focus. If he carries these two attributes, he is in for glory.
