I cant believe Kegin Keegans has been sacked, im so upset about this as I thought he was turning newcastle back in the right direction. They've started the season really well aswell and the signings have been good.

I would like to see shearer in as manager now but i still think its time for Mike ashley to go...anyone else agree??

Thanks

  1. It's a d**n shame. Kev's one of the greats, loves football in an old-school flying attack sort of way. 21 games in charge is not long enough. the fact he wasn't even given control of the transfers was ridiculous too as he has a very set mind on the types of players style and attitude in his teams. Ignore Shearer again, he will one day be a winner at the Newcastle helm but he's not ready yet.

my money's on Frank Richeard formerly of barca. He's a winner, then at least we don't have to write off another season as a transitional process.

Ashley should rather shamelessly step up and throw out wise. It was stupid to bring him in the first case. Whats he achieved? if ashley puts him in charge the club will spiral down fast. The only advantage being he knows the new players better then anyone else.

I've been a toon fan for as long as I can remember and in that time have lovingly supported whatever team the 12 or 13 managers in that time have put out. But really its gotta change. success comes from stability on all fronts of the club.

  2. Shame that Keegan is gone.  I don't get it, he was upset about not getting his transfers?  Why not see what you can do with the squad?  May have been a rash decision on both sides.

Yes, on Shearer coming in, but only for the remainder of the season, with a reevalution in the summer.

Yes, on Ashley leaving, although it was great watching him chug down that beer in the stands on Saturday.

  3. he's failure, thats why they sacked him. he's never a good coach. im happy that they fired him, cuz NEW CASTLE's good team and Keegan just didnt know what to with that team.

  4. It's really Dennis Wise's fault. I had high hopes for Newcastle United but I guess it's back to the drawing board. What a setback.

  5. King Kev was a great manager for the club. However it was a big mistake backing barton Kevin Keegan should have sacked Joey barton and kept James Milner at the club

Alan Shearer would be a great manager for a great club.

  6. Im shocked too. I put my tv on sky sports and they showed a clip of newcastle fans chanting "Ashley Out!"

He should sell up! No one wants him..

  7. where do we go from here??im like you an upset toon fan i agree..
