Keep finding moths in my house?

ok it seems i can only find one in my house at a time or 2,well my cat finds them and i dont think they come in when the doors is open sense its hardly ever open,i find them alot my my patio,but that is never open but we have a big light and i no they are atrtracted to light,could they have some sort of nest outside of my house on the front porch and come in when we open thew door or what?

They could be in any old food box products you have somewhere around the house.    Those ones are pretty small and there would be lots of them if you ever find the box.

Keep in mind that all kinds of insects are attracted to the light on a porch, on the house, or anywhere you have lights turned on at dusk or nightfall.

Now about moth in your house I can tell you that there are many kinds of moth.  If you find moths in your closet, you better clean out the closet and check your wool sweaters and wool blankets, as the larva of the moths will eat holes in these fabrics.  The moths itself don't do any harm, they only lay the eggs which then hatch and become larva which then feast on your clothes.

Wash or dry clean all the clothes in the closet and hopefully you can get rid of the little beasties.  Don't forget to vacuum and mop the floors to get rid of any possible eggs.
