  1. Report this number to the FTC and they will be fined, unless its a politician.

  2. when they call u, say the following.

telemarketer - "Hello, are u interested in...."

you - "oh sorry, im sorta busy right now. Why dont u give me your home phone number and ill call u back later."

telemarketer - "we cant do that"

you - "oh because u dont want people calling u at home?"

    telemarketer - "ya"

you - "now u know how i feel!"

*and then you hang up the phone*

  3. Subscribe to anonymous call rejection. I have that and what happens when somebody has a blocked number they hear a recording that says "the person you are trying to reach does not accept private call please leave a message for your party. After that then my phone rings and says someone is waiting to speak to you. I hear their message. I can accept it or deny it. If I accept it, the call is sent right to me. If I reject it the caller hears a message that says the party you are trying to reach doesn't not wish to speak to you good by. Now if the caller hangs up w/o leaving a message I never even knew that they called.

  4. I wrote a program that can do that for you.  Its called callclerk.  You can find more about it at  www.callclerk.com

  5. Each state has there own laws with the DNC. For Example here in North Carolina, telemarketers cannot call people on the DNC registry for 3 months. Then they must re-register. if u do get telemarketing calls within those 3 months they can file a complain with the attorney general or you can take them to court by filing an action.

Please call you local phone company and ask on the rules and regulations reguarding the DNC in your state. you can get more info at www.donotcall.gov
