Keep getting prank phone calls how do i dial the * for *69?

most prank caller use *67 before the call....so using *69 will not work!!!

but you can use *77 ACR ( anonymous call rejection)

so if someone uses *67 to call you, it will not get thru..

if you are using a rotary phone, just dial 1169. (11 acts as *)...hope this is what u were lookin for!

On a touch tone phone the "*" is on the bottom row, to the left of the "0"; you can not dial this via a rotary dial phone, however Radio Shack once sold devices you could put up to the mouth piece that allowed you to play the * tone such that the phone would pick it up and processes it as if you had pressed a * on the dial pad; today you could likely do something similar with recording a sound on your PC and playing it thru your speakers ... infact here's a wav file you can play to get the *69 sound played thru your pc speakers

lots of ways ... but pressing the "*" is the easiest :-)
