Keep having the same dream over and over, cant understand the meaning?

Question

I keep having this dream where I'm on a dock across a river from my parents and their house, and they are waving me over and calmly yelling for me to come over. When I jump into the river to come over I cant swim and just sink to the bottom. I have had this same dream atleast 4 times now! What could it mean? I cant quite get my head around it because I swim every other day as exercise, and I love my parents and see them every day. Any help figuring this out is appreciated!

Perhaps there is some issue you and your parents are avoiding, that divides you.  Pray for wisdom.

this is an obsticle dream. It may not even represent your parents in actuality, but another prominient athority figure. The water is your obsticle, you sink though you swim advidly. Basically I think that there is something in your life that you would normally easily conquer, but are afraid at failing at.
