  1. You can download planner pages at the following sites:

    http://donnayoung.org/

    http://notebookingpages.com/

You can also download free software to help you with organization and record keeping here:

    http://homeschooltracker.com/

    http://studyminder.com/

Hope there's something you can use there?

  2. Most of the best tools are already done for you and still are flexible enough to make work for you.  If you want to jump in and do something yourself, try making a spread sheet of subjects on one side and days of the week across the top.  Use it for planning or to let your child check off the work as it is complete.  If you have more than one child at home, you can put the subjects down the side and their names across the top or make individual weekly charts for each child.  It's a good idea to give one to the child but also post one where you can see it so you can ask specific questions about what work is done and what's still in progress.

Another great set up is www.edu-track.net.  I bought this for $50 about 4 years ago and still use it to keep track of lessons, activities, materials and so much more.

http://www.titus2.com/ sells a fantastic program/book called MOTH - Managers of Their Homes.  It is a Christian website.  It is especially useful if you have a large family.
